Historical information:
Railway lamp huts and lineside huts are a traditional part of the British railway scene of old and a detail still found today on many preserved railways. This design is based on the hut next to Rothley Signal box on the preserved Great Central Railway between Loughborough and Leicester. The design would also perfectly compliment the other Bachmann GCR structures in the range and look at home on Mainline layouts and sleepy branchlines.
