Captain Scarlet (Classic) Angel Interceptor The Angel Interceptor is a single seater strike aircraft developed by International Engineering from the World Army Air Force 'Viper' Jet, but the final blueprint of the Angel is vastly different from the original Viper, having been specially adapted for Cloudbase requirements. 60 ft (18.29 m) long, precision engineered, the plane is incredibly compact, carrying extra electronic instruments and mammoth fuel tanks which enable the aircraft to complete any mission without refuelling. Three Angel Interceptors are always positioned on the aerial launch platform on Cloudbase ready for immediate take-off. Entry to the cockpit is by hydraulic lift from the Cloudbase Amber Room up through the hull of the craft, such that the pilot is ejected into the cockpit complete with her seat. Since May 2023 it's been owned by its third keeper, Lynn Dumpleton, the editor of the RS Owners Club's magazine Rallye News, who lives in North Wales. Lynn is a lifelong fast Ford enthusiast and could not resist adding this low-mileage example of Ford's last petrol-powered RS to her collection. The car was ordered with most of the available options including the Luxury Pack, which cost an extra £1000 on top of the retail price of £29,995 and included rear parking sensors, powerfold door mirrors, keyless entry, privacy glass, cruise control, and a speed limiter. The first owner also requested 19” black forged alloy wheels that cost an extra £595, shadow black premium paint, which cost an additional £525, and the Ford SYNC3 Nav System with 10 premium Sony Speakers, a sub-woofer and a rear camera, which was another £465. The blue-painted brake callipers were a mere £100, and door edge protectors, at £85, completed the list. The only option left unticked was the Race Style RS Recaro shell seats, which would have cost an extra £1145 and reduced the car's practicality. Lynn enjoys taking the car to RSOC events and was particularly pleased to use it as the safety car on the club's anniversary parade lap of the Donnington Park race circuit during the 2023 RSOC National Day.

It was delivered to Ford of Britain on March 5th, 2019, and loaned to EVO Magazine for a long-term test two weeks later. Although driven by various members of EVO's team, the main custodian was Deputy Editor, Adam Towler, who was very enthusiastic about the car, writing in his first report, 'I think it's fair to say I'm besotted with this big American in a way I can't remember being with a long-termer in years.' During EVO's tenure, Ford's press garage fitted various upgrades from their Ford Performance accessory range for the magazine's experts to evaluate. This included a quick shift gear lever, a carbon-fibre gear knob, a strut brace, a slightly louder and more free-flowing exhaust system, and coil-over suspension which improved the car's stance as well as its high-speed handling. The EVO team hosted numerous track days throughout the year including an event at Goodwood, and all were impressed by the poise the car exhibited on track as well as the glorious rev-hungry nature of its V8. It was returned to Ford on December 2nd, 2019, and used on some corporate Ford events with the product and accessory team before being de-fleeted on 31st July 2020.

Advertised as 'the most track-capable Mustang ever to grace UK shores', its specification was very impressive and included MagneRide® adjustable dampers, a Tremec six-speed manual transmission with rev-matching technology for seamless down-shifts, a limited-slip differential, and an upgraded oil-cooler to keep the 454bhp 5-litre V8 cool whilst exploiting its prodigious performance. In true Ford tradition, at only £55,185, it was also fantastic value for money as the few cars available offering comparable performance were considerably more expensive. The example modelled was added to Ford's Press Fleet on September 2nd, 2021, and retained until February 17th, 2023. During that time, it was used for Ford's corporate events or track driving days, and it appeared on TV twice, in the Wheeler Dealers' Yellow Car Special and BBC Top Gear's Christmas Special. It was also loaned to various magazines and newspapers for road-testing, including The Sunday Times, The Sun, The Mirror, Top Gear Magazine, Goodwood Media, What Car and Autocar. For the final ten months of its PR duties, it was on long-term test with CAR magazine, mainly in the care of the magazine's then deputy features editor, James Taylor, who was a big fan of the Mach 1's handling and character.

SDM is one of the Asia-Pacific region’s leading automotive groups and is involved in all facets of the automotive business, from importation and assembly, to distribution, retail, and rental. They are Ford’s sole Malaysian distributor and created the SE Raptor to be sold via their network of Ford main dealerships. It featured unique Raptor X lightning bolt decals on the rear and sides of the ‘True Red’ exterior and a matching logo on the unique interior carpet mats. It cost RM6,000 (approximately £1,000) more than the standard Ranger Raptor on which it was based. The most impressive piece of additional equipment was a system offering 360-degree surround coverage of the vehicle, from grille, tailgate and door-mirror mounted cameras, which allowed quad high-definition (HD) recording, wide-angle viewing and night view. This provided real-time full coverage of the vehicle's surrounding area, be it in an urban setting or difficult off-road terrain where it is especially useful because it allows drivers to make more informed choices about which line to choose when traversing water, climbing steep slopes, or negotiating rock-strewn desert. The first listed owner was Jaguar's Personal Export Division. They registered the car in Coventry purely so it could be officially exported to the largest of the Canary Islands, Tenerife, where the British gentleman who had ordered it, Mr I. E. Lloyd, was then based. Mr Lloyd specified Sundym glass to make the car more comfortable in the warm climate and regularly drove it back to the UK for servicing. Mr Lloyd evidently enjoyed the car as he covered 50,000 miles in it and kept it until the late 1980s, by which time he'd moved to the Isle of Man. It was imported into the UK in 2016 and then purchased by well-known Jaguar collector, Mike Birtwistle, who was impressed by its rust-free condition and original red interior. Mike mechanically recommissioned it, had the sun-bleached paint resprayed and used it for several Jaguar Enthusiast Club events before selling it to a fellow JEC member, West Midlands-based motoring TV producer and journalist, John Lakey, in September 2017. John was delighted as he'd been looking for a 4.2-litre MOD Series 1 in these colours for years and regularly writes about the car in Classic Car Weekly.

Dropped from a Royal Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster in a compact form, the glider immediately springs open into a deployed flight configuration that, upon reaching surface level, transforms again into a submersible for the final arrival at Safin’s base. While not a real aircraft, the Q Glider was created as a full-size physical prop with an opening canopy by the No Time To Die production team for use on set. The glider prop was used onboard a real Royal Air Force C-17A Globemaster at RAF Brize Norton and in a water tank set built at Pinewood Studios to create the interior submarine pen at The Poisoned Garden. Visuals of the glider deploying from the Globemaster were created using Computer Generated Imagery (CGI).

James Bond Aston Martin DBS 'Quantum of Solace' Roaring into the opening moments of ‘Quantum of Solace’ and picking up immediately after the close of ‘Casino Royale’, the Aston Martin DBS returns under the control of James Bond as he finds himself under relentless pursuit by agents of the shadowy organisation Quantum. Junkers JU-87 Stuka Includes: - Diecast model - Canopy detailing - Printed detail - Prop and engine exhausts - Display stand - 1:72 Scale Aircraft information and history: Although usually associated with the Wehrmachts feared Lightning War attacks at the beginning of WWII, the Ju87B Stuka was also a highly effective maritime strike bomber. Capable of performing precision dive bombing attacks against any Allied vessel, the Stuka took a heavy toll of shipping in the English Channel, North Africa and in the Mediterranean. The Stuka also saw service with the air forces of Italy, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary, as well as remaining in Luftwaffe service throughout WWII. The attack dive of the Stuka was so severe, that quite a number of automatic features had to be incorporated into the manoeuvre. At an altitude of approximately 15,000 ft., the pilot would locate his target through a bombsight window, which was located in the floor of the cockpit. His engine and propeller had automatic controls, to optimise the aircraft when in a dive, and an automatic trimmer would make the aircraft tail heavy, as the pilot initiated the dive. He would move the dive lever to the rear, which would limit the kick of the control column and quickly begin a defined sequence of actions, which if done correctly, would see his ordnance detonate on his intended target. He quickly set the trim tabs, reduced the throttle and closed the engine coolant flaps. The aircraft would automatically become tail heavy and pitch over in a 180-degree roll, placing the aircraft in a steep nose-down dive at the same time, dive breaks were automatically deployed, to reduce the speed of the dive, to a constant 360 mph. This was the point of no return as the attack sequence had begun. As the strain on the body of the pilot increased, he still had much work to do. The angle of his dive could be checked by looking at a series of red lines on the side of his cockpit window and lining them up against the horizon 60, 75, or 80 degree angle of attack. He would then look forward through the fixed gun sight, to line up his attack, before releasing his heavy main bomb - the optimum release height was indicated to the pilot, by a light flicking on in his altimeter. The bomb was carried on a large U-shaped cradle, which would swing down on release, throwing the bomb safely clear of the large propeller and on to the target. As all this action was taking place, the pilot would have certainly had at least a couple of reassuring glances at the red pins protruding up from the top of the wings, which informed him that the automatic dive recovery system was engaged, should he fall victim to a g-induced black-out. All this would have been taking place in just a matter of a few, frantic seconds! Once the bombs had left the aircraft, it automatically began its dive recovery sequence. This was the point at which the maximum g loading on the crew would be felt and forces in excess of six times the force of gravity were regularly experienced, which could result in vision impairment at the very least. Once recovered and the nose of the aircraft was above the horizon, the dive breaks were automatically retracted, the throttle was opened and the propeller was set to climb the pilot then quickly had to manually open the coolant flaps, to prevent the engine from overheating and then resume flying the aircraft. This was the point that the Stuka was at its most vulnerable, flying at low level, at relatively slow speed and in hostile territory. His rear gunner may still be blacked out and indeed the pilot might still be feeling a little light headed, but every anti-aircraft gun, rifle and enemy fighter in the vicinity would be taking pot-shots at them, from every angle.

Chard’s engineer’s eye was crucial. He decided to defend the Drift; it was a wise decision since any attempt to retreat would undoubtedly have exposed the men to a Zulu attack on the open veldt. He directed that a line of barricades be run in front of the post. His soldiers would be sheltered by a wall of mealie bags and biscuit boxes above their own head height. This put the Zulu warriors fighting with close-quarter weapons at a fatal disadvantage. The battle had cost the lives of approximately 600 Zulus, while just 17 British soldiers were killed – a testament to the effectiveness of Chard’s barricades.

Recovered from Lake Traun in Austria some twelve years earlier, this aircraft had the distinction of being the last Allied fighter to be lost prior to the end of the war in Europe, one which wasn't lost to enemy action, but the exuberance of a pilot who just flew too low when undertaking a morale boosting aviation show of strength flight. Assigned to fly over a recently liberated German labour camp in the town of Ebensee, Austria, a force of twenty Thunderbolts made their way at relatively low altitude from their base at Kitzingen, but with Mohr in 'Dottie Mae' always appearing to be flying lower than the rest of the flight. After overflying the town, the Thunderbolts headed out over Lake Traun and broke formation, however almost immediately, the propeller of Mohr's P-47 struck the surface of the water and was dragged in. Pilot Lt. Mohr managed to escape unscathed, but his aircraft quickly sank to its watery resting place, along with the ignominy of being the last Allied fighter lost during the war in Europe.

One of the most celebrated Starships to serve in Starfleet, the Galaxy-class USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D was launched in 2363 under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard as the new flagship of the United Federation of Planets.
Stingray - Diecast model - Fit the box scale Includes: - Detailed diecast replica - Window glazing detail - Display stand - Exclusive Gerry Anderson Stingray packaging - Fit the box scale Vehicle information and history: The flagship of the World Aquanaut Security Patrol (WASP), Stingray is a renowned combat submarine piloted by Captain Troy Tempest and his hydrophone operator Lieutenant George Lee Sheridan, also known as ‘Phones’. The vessel was considered the most advanced submarine of the 2060s and was central to the WASP’s discovery of many advanced undersea civilisations, including the city of Titanica, ruled by the despotic King Titan and his warrior followers, the Aquaphibians. Measuring 85ft (30m) long, Stingray’s nuclear reactor powers a Dual Drumman Hydrojets Ratemaster Turbine that gives the vessel a surface speed of 400 knots and a submerged speed of 600 knots. This raw power also enables the ship to breach the surface and ‘jump’ out of the water for a short distance, a useful way to evade enemies. Stingray can safely submerge to a maximum depth of 40,000ft, comfortably above the deepest known point of the world’s oceans. A pair of landing skis can deploy from the underside of the hull to enable the submarine to safely land on the ocean floor. The submarine is armed with a complement of sixteen Sting missiles and carries several other small vehicles onboard for maximum operational flexibility while deployed. Most noticeable of these are a pair of Aqua Sprites, small submersibles located on the exterior hull of Stingray to port and starboard. The Aqua Sprites feature dry interiors for the pilot, detaching from the main hull and allowing for closer docking with other vessels underwater. In the event of an emergency underwater, the Aqua Sprites are also the primary means of evacuating Stingray. If the crew leaves the vessel in underwater equipment, they invariably use handheld Sea Bugs to enable speedier propulsion and movement while underwater. Above the surface, compact single-seat hovercraft called Monocopters are available on board to provide much quicker and safer movement over the invariable rough terrain.
