Class 23 'Baby Deltic' H/code Box D5901 BR Green (SYP)
Another type that has never been produced in N scale, the new EFE Rail models tell the story of this Class of ten locomotives that were ordered from English Electric as part of BR’s 1955 Modernisation Plan. Despite a service life spanning little more than ten years, the Baby Deltics have an interesting past; being rebuilt after just a few short years in service and emerging again with a distinct new look before their premature demise.
The EFE Rail models have been designed to portray the real locomotives throughout their working lives so two bodyshells have been produced, one with headcode discs for the as-built examples and a second with central headcode panels. Boasting injection moulded bodyshells with fine relief detail and precision engraving, all of the locomotive’s defining features are recreated in miniature. Separate metal handrails are added aside each cab door and on the nose ends, whilst below the solebar separate tanks are fitted and the bogies are crafted with full brake and suspension detail.
Powered by a coreless motor, DCC provision comes in the form of a Next18 decoder socket and space is provided for a speaker for those wishing to add sound. Directional lights are fitted and a switch is provided on the PCB to turn off the red tail lights, or this can be done via a function key when a DCC decoder is fitted.

GWR 49XX 'Hall' 4936 'Kinlet Hall' BR Lined Green (Late)
The Great Western Railway (GWR) was famous for its variety of 4-6-0 steam locomotive classes, and none were more numerous and successful than the 49XX ‘Hall’ Class. After a long period of absence from the Graham Farish range, the ‘Hall’ makes a triumphant return for 2025 with this brand new model that has been designed from the rails up to produce a masterpiece in miniature befitting of such an iconic prototype. These mixed traffic machines were found across the Great Western network and beyond.
Constructed from a multitude of high-fidelity parts and decorated with an exquisite paint finish, the new Graham Farish ‘Hall’ has an impressive technical specification to match. Employing a powerful coreless motor to drive the wheels through a diecast metal gearbox, electrical pickup comes from all driving and tender wheels and separate metal bearings are fitted to the driving wheel axles assuring smooth and reliable running. The tender houses a speaker and Next18 DCC decoder socket, making it easy to add sound

LNER V2 4791 LNER Lined Green (Original)
Some twenty years since the V2 was first produced in N scale by Graham Farish, this all-new model of the LNER Mixed Traffic icon is made to standards not even dreamt of twenty years ago. Often described as ‘the engines that won the war’, these new Graham Farish models are sure to win the heart of any discerning N scale enthusiast. Depicting one of the LNER’s most successful steam locomotive designs, this masterpiece in miniature captures the look and the character of the prototype to a tee. With highly detailed mouldings and many separate parts used on both the locomotive and tender, including era- and prototype-specific detailing to allow accurate models of any given class member throughout their working lives, the performance of these new V2s is just as impressive as their appearance.
A powerful coreless motor and flywheel is incorporated into the diecast locomotive chassis, powering the driving wheels which run in separate metal bearings. With electrical pickup from the driving wheels and tender wheels and the option to have traction tyres fitted to one driving wheelset, this new V2 is on a steady footing as soon as it hits the rails. With a Next18 DCC decoder socket and pre-fitted speaker located in the tender, this model is future proofed for those wishing to operate on DCC, with or without sound.
The Class 158 is one of British Rail’s most successful second generation Diesel Multiple Units (DMUs); first introduced in 1989, all but one of the original units remain in traffic to this day. This all-new Graham Farish model follows in the footsteps of the brand’s award winning Class 319 Electric Multiple Unit and captures this iconic prototype to a tee.
The pinnacle of N scale second generation DMUs, the Graham Farish Class 158 combines high fidelity bodyshells with an underframe that’s adorned with separate components depicting the engines, electrical equipment, and auxiliary gear. It’s the livery application which really brings these models to life and every element has been replicated in miniature. Whilst the main colours are spray painted, the myriad smaller logos, symbols and lettering are applied using a specialist printing process, using BR and corporate specification fonts, logos and colours.
Driven by the low-level drive mechanism, each vehicle sports uninterrupted views of the interior which is fitted out with tables, chairs and even metal luggage racks – made visible thanks to the saloon lighting. The inter-vehicle coupling system ensure that the two vehicles work together in harmony and enables the use of a single decoder for DCC operation.
BR Standard 5MT with BR1 Tender 73006 BR Lined Black (Late Crest)
The Graham Farish model brings all the power and presence of the prototype to N scale and this masterpiece in miniature certainly packs a punch when it comes to the detail, with separate metal handrails found throughout the locomotive and tender, brass chimney and safety valves and separate pipework running from below the cab to the injectors on the boiler. Inside the cab, the moulded back head detail has been decorated to pick out the individual gauges and controls, whilst below the running plate, the Walschaerts valve gear is something to behold, especially when the locomotive is in motion.
A powerful coreless motor provides drive to the centre driving wheels and each driving wheel is fitted with separate metal bearings whilst a pair of traction tyres are fitted to the rear driving wheels to aid traction. Electrical pick-up comes via all six driving wheels and all six tender wheels, with a semi-permanent loco-tender coupling system to ensure the two stay firmly coupled at all times.
