Morris Mini Cooper Racing
Introduced in 1959, the Morris Mini rewrote the rules for small cars, pairing a brilliantly compact body with an impressively spacious interior. Then came the Mini Cooper: tuned by Formula One legend John Cooper and ready to turn everyday agility into track-ready excitement. Its 1,275 cc 4-cylinder engine with twin carburetors delivered 75 hp and a top speed of 155 km/h, while front disc brakes and revised suspension helped make every corner count. In the 1960s, the Mini Cooper became a racing favorite, using its nimble handling and unmistakable go-kart spirit to claim countless victories and class titles in series including the British Saloon Car Championship and the European Touring Car Championship.
This 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit celebrates the Morris Mini Cooper Racing with compact confidence and competition attitude. Length: 129 mm, width: 66 mm, height: 56 mm.

History:
Bismarck, one of the most formidable battleships ever to sail, posed a significant threat to the Royal Navy and Britain's crucial maritime routes, a threat that needed to be eliminated. Following the loss of HMS Hood, the Admiralty was resolute in its mission to destroy Bismarck, dispatching a formidable task force to track her down. This set the stage for a monumental clash of warships in the North Atlantic, culminating in the destruction of one of the world's great battleships.
The pursuit of Bismarck became one of the most significant naval operations of the Second World War, involving numerous ships and aircraft over vast stretches of ocean. After breaking into the Atlantic, Bismarck engaged HMS Hood and HMS Prince of Wales in the Battle of the Denmark Strait, resulting in Hood's destruction by a catastrophic explosion. This devastating loss spurred the Royal Navy to launch an unyielding pursuit, deploying every available resource to locate and destroy the German battleship before she could reach the safety of French ports.
The chase ended with a series of air and sea assaults that impaired Bismarck's steering, leaving her defenceless against the advancing British fleet. In the final confrontation, battleships HMS King George V and HMS Rodney, supported by cruisers and destroyers, battered Bismarck into a burning wreck before she was ultimately scuttled by her crew on 27th May 1941, concluding one of naval warfare's most dramatic chapters.

History:
HMS Suffolk was a distinguished County-class heavy cruiser in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. In May 1941, she was instrumental in the Battle of the Denmark Strait and the eventual sinking of the German battleship Bismarck. Suffolk engaged the enemy battleship twice and, with her advanced radar systems, successfully tracked the Bismarck through the Denmark Strait's challenging waters. This vital surveillance allowed Suffolk to maintain contact with the enemy, providing crucial intelligence that enabled other Royal Navy units to intercept Bismarck.
The ship's role was pivotal in one of the war's most renowned naval battles, ultimately leading to the demise of Germany's most formidable warship and safeguarding Atlantic convoys from potential threats.

M1 Super Sherman
Following Israel's declaration of independence in 1948, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) chose the M4 Sherman as its first mainstay tank. In the mid-1950s, the IDF purchased a sizable number of M4A1 Shermans, which were armed with the 76.2mm M1 gun, to counter Arab armies' T-34-85s. These tanks were designated M1 Super Sherman according to their armament in order to distinguish them from earlier variants equipped with 75mm guns. Many featured curved cast hulls, air-cooled radial gasoline engines, and Vertical Volute Spring Suspension (VVSS). They first saw action when the Suez Crisis broke out on October 29, 1956, and some soldiered on until the 1970s.
Features:
★1/35 scale plastic assembly kit of the M1 Super Sherman. Length: 210mm, Width: 75mm.
★The distinctive form of the tank including its curved cast hull and 76mm main gun is accurately reproduced based on thorough study of a full-size museum exhibit.

German 8ton Semi-Track 3.7cm Flak 37 Sd.Kfz.7/2 Armored Cab Type
As WWII progressed and German forces lost their air superiority amid fierce Allied raids in the sky, Germany looked to bolster ground to air defense with the development of self propelled anti-aircraft guns based upon tanks and half-track vehicles. The 8ton half-track (Sd.Kfz.7/2) was one of those such weapons. The half-track chassis employed had a proven track record towing 88mm guns, but was now fitted with its own 3.7cm anti-aircraft cannon that could fire 160 rounds per minute. Produced from 1943, later variants were also fitted with armor on the driver seat and radiator.
Features:
★This is a 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 200mm, width: 70mm.
★The functional form of the vehicle is accurately captured, including a realistic depiction of the complex half-track suspension.
★The model can be assembled with its tailgate in raised or lowered position. Plastic netting is also included to raise realism.
★The 3.7cm anti-aircraft cannon features excellent attention to detail, right down to the breech and mount.
★Includes explosive and armor piercing shell parts.

Sd.Kfz.2 Kettenkraftrad Mid Production

M561 Gama Goat
At Home Off of the Beaten Track
Originally commissioned in 1966 as an off-road, amphibious vehicle, the M561 Gama Goat was a 6-wheel drive truck consisting of a 4-wheel tractor and a 2-wheel carrier module. What really set it apart from other vehicles of its type, however, was its employment of an articulation joint between the two modules that allowed them to move independently of one another: a most useful skill when traversing rough terrain. The 14,000 Gama Goats produced up to 1973 were used in a variety of roles by both the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, and were deployed in the fighting in Grenada in 1983, although by the start of the 1990s the Gama Goat had been largely phased out. The former half of its unusual nickname came from Roger Gamaunt, designer of the key articulation joint, and the latter half from its tenacious goat-like climbing ability.

M36 US Tank Destroyer
As U.S. forces encountered the rapidly evolving armor of their German opponents, it became clear the the M10 tank destroyer and its 76.2mm gun were insufficient and in need of replacement. Their solution was to install the more powerful 90mm gun onto the M10A1 chassis in an open top turret: the M36, which first appeared in June 1944. Its first live action was in fighting on the French-German border that October, but if faced more concerted fighting as the German forces launched a desperate counter-attack in the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944. Over a thousand M36 vehicles had been manufactured by the time of the German surrender in May 1945, and after the end of hostilities many were given to allies such as France, which used it in the First Indochina War. It is even said to have been used in the Japanese development of their first domestic post-war tank: the Type 61.

German Pz. Kpfw. III Ausf. L
From the beginning and through to the middle stages of WWII, the Pz.Kpfw.IIIs along with the Pz.Kpfw.IVs were the core tanks used by German tank divisions. Each variant of the Pz.Kpfw.III including the Ausf.L was highly reliable, came armed with a long barreled 60 caliber 50mm gun and had reinforced armor. This is a 1/35 scale plastic assembly model kit of one such Ausf.L tank. Famous characteristics of the Ausf.L which include the driver's front panel and main gun mantlet have been realistically reproduced. The fighting compartment loading area, turret interior, and commander’s seat have been reproduced. You can also choose to assemble each hatch in either open or closed positions. Accessory parts seen on the hull such as spare tracks and tools feature a precise finish. A tank commander figure is included.

Pz.Kpfw. I Ausf.B
The Pz.Kpfw.I was the first mass-manufactured tank produced by Germany since the post-WWI armor restrictions imposed by the Treaty of Versailles. The initial 1934 Ausf.A variant was followed in 1936 by the upgraded Ausf.B, which saw engine power increased from 57hp to 100hp, as well as a chassis that was some 40 centimeters longer. It was armed with a pair of MG13 machine guns, fired by the commander. Although originally intended only for training use, the Pz.Kpfw.I in fact saw action in the Spanish Civil War from 1936, and then in the German invasions of Poland (1939), France (1940) and the Balkans (1941), and even the ill-fated invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941.

As Allied forces began to move off the D-Day beaches and into the Normandy countryside, they knew they would be facing strong opposition from German Panzer units, including the feared Heavy Tank Battalions.
Fortunately, they now had a tank which was capable of taking on the Tigers and Panthers, in the form of the Sherman Firefly, a British-designed marriage of the M4 Sherman and their famous 17-pounder anti-tank gun.
Usually deployed in a ratio of one Firefly to four standard Shermans, German tank commanders soon learned to look for the longer barrel of the Firefly and attempt to knock these tanks out first.
To make identification more difficult, British crews camouflaged the front of their guns with light-coloured paint, giving their tank the appearance of a standard 75mm-equipped Sherman, hoping this deception would give them enough time to get in the first shot during any engagement.

The Tiger I is an excellent choice for someone who wants functionality within a kit. Designed to 1:35 scale, the turret is fully poseable, including moving wheels and tracks, which are also individually linked. Even though the German Panzerkamfwagen VI Tiger heavy tank saw its combat introduction back in September 1942, it is still regarded as the world's most famous tank design to this day.
Possessing a fearsome combination of firepower, armoured protection and mobility, the 88mm gun mounted on the Tiger and its excellent sighting optics allowed it to engage enemy armour at extreme ranges and certainly well outside the range at which they could return fire.
Indeed, during the first Tiger engagements on the Eastern Front, the most likely way that a Tiger would be destroyed was by the hands of its own crew, as they were desperate to avoid the possibility of one of these magnificent machines falling into the hands of the enemy. From the date of its introduction, the Tiger was the tank against which all other tanks would be judged and large numbers of Allied tanks and military vehicles fell to its gun.

Vehicle information and history:
The King Tiger made its debut in 1944, toward the end of WWII, and proved a fearsome foe to the Allies, with 150mm and 80mm armor on the hull front and sides respectively, and a powerful 700hp Maybach HL230-P30 engine. The first fifty had a Porsche-designed turret, but thereafter mass-produced King Tigers had an updated turret designed by Henschel. The L/71 88mm gun was upgraded from the Tiger I, and could defeat 170mm of armor from a kilometer away. Some 430 of these King Tigers were produced until the end of the run in March 1945, proving a constant threat to the end.

Vehicle information and history:
It was late 1944 and Germany was clearly losing the war. Russia was closing in on the Eastern front while American bombing raids were devastating German cities. Italy had been liberated and the Allies were quickly moving through France and the Low Counties. The end looked near for Germany unless they could succeed in a great offensive push, which is exactly what they attempted.
On December 16, 1944, an American sentry reported countless "pinpoints of light" flickering along the German line. Seconds later, shells exploded around him and he realized that the lights were the muzzle flashes of hundreds of German guns. A massive German counteroffensive was underway along the 85-mile Ardennes front. In the north, the Sixth Panzer Army struck the U.S. 99th and 2nd Divisions. In the center, the fifth Panzer Army hit the 106th Division, the 14th Cavalry Group and part of the 28th Division.
In the South, the Seventh Army clashed with the U.S. 4th, 9th and 28th Armored Divisions. Although the Allies were initially sent reeling, courageous troops and rugged armor such as the Sherman tank eventually turned the tides of battle. One of the most used versions of this tank was the 75mm gun-equipped M4A3 Sherman, which used a V8 450hp Ford engine.
The late production version first rolled out of the factories in February 1944 with an angled front hull and 63.5mm armored plate. To the turret, a cupola for the commander and hatch for the loader were added. This version was also equipped with wet ammo storage bins, which helped prevent internal fires, a weakness of earlier Shermans.

Vehicle information and history:
The progress of the air force and the improved mobility made with the mechanization of the ground troops greatly changed the way battles were fought during World War II. With this in mind, many kinds of anti-aircraft weapons were developed to fight against enemy aircraft attacks, which led to fierce battles seen at every front. One such anti-aircraft machine seen during WWII was the M16 self propelled gun which was manufactured from 1942 to 1943. Fitted on the M3 half-track chassis was the quad mounted 50-caliber (12.7mm) Browning automatic heavy machine gun, which had an 893m/s muzzle velocity, 6,767m range, and a discharging rate of 450-555 rounds per minute, which earned it the nickname of "the meat chopper." The Type M45 gun mount could rotate 360 degrees and elevate between -10 and +90 degrees and was electrically driven which allowed it to move 60 degrees of rotation/elevation per second. Not only was it greatly effective against enemy aircraft, it was also very influential on the ground attack. Even after WWII, the M16 was also deployed with the Japanese Ground Self Defense Forces during the Korean War.

Aircraft information and history:
An aircraft that must surely be considered one of the most distinctive types to have ever seen Fleet Air Arm service, the Fairey Gannet was as capable as it was unique and was significant as the only post-war military contract to be won by the famous Fairey Aviation Company. Arguably the most unconventional Fairey designed aircraft to enter full production, the Gannet was developed in response to a 1945 Royal Navy requirement for an advanced carrier-based, turboprop-powered anti-submarine hunter-killer, one which was rugged enough to withstand the rigors of operation at sea.
Intended to counter the recent expansion of the Soviet submarine fleet at the start of the Cold War era, the Gannet was equipped with all manner of the latest electronic detection equipment and if an enemy submarine was detected, it could be marked, tracked, and if necessary, attacked, using bombs, depth charges, rockets, and air-launched acoustic torpedoes.
One feature of the Gannet which helped to give it a unique appearance was the adoption of its powerplant, the innovative Armstrong Siddeley Double Mamba. This arrangement saw two gas turbine engines mounted side by side in the nose of the gannet, sharing a common gearbox, but both operating independently, each engine driving its own coaxially mounted, contra-rotating propeller. In addition to this, the engines could run on kerosene and even diesel fuel, which was safer to handle and less refined than traditional aviation fuels.
This arrangement provided Gannet crews with more than enough power for carrier operations, with the reassurance of two engines when embarking on long ocean patrols. Once in flight, the pilot could shut down one of the engines to conserve fuel and whilst this would reduce the Gannet's maximum speed, it would extend its loiter capabilities. Usually, a pilot would alternate engine use during a long patrol, running each engine for around an hour before swapping to the other engine - the engine mounted on the port side drove the front propeller.
Another unique feature of the Gannet's design was its bi-folding wing system, something which was designed to allow this large aircraft to operate safely and to be stored aboard one of the Royal Navy's relatively small aircraft carriers. When a pilot engaged the wing unfold, this ingenious system not only prepared the wings for flight, but also automatically connected all flight control systems, hydraulic connections and fuel pipes to the main system, without any ground crew intervention.
In operation, there are reports that the Gannet was so rugged a design that when one aircraft lost the outer sections of both wings after performing a particularly violent manoeuvre, the aircraft still managed to make it back safely to its home carrier, something which can only have endeared the aircraft to its crews still further.
The Fairey Gannet would prove to be an extremely rugged and highly effective anti-submarine aircraft, one which could carry an impressive array of offensive ordnance and one which was able to attack submarines either on the surface, or when submerged and trying to evade its attentions. Well-liked by air and ground crews alike, 348 Gannets would eventually be produced and in addition to serving with Britain's Fleet Air Arm, the aircraft would also see service with the navies of Australia, Germany and Indonesia.

Valentine MK.II/IV
The lighweight, compact Valentine was an infantry tank first deployed in 1940 by British forces. It came as a welcome addition for the beleagured British who had been forced into a desperate evacuation from Dunkirk, during which precious materiel had to be left behind. A total run of over 7,000 units (produced in Britain and Canada) made the Valentine the most prolifically produced British tank during WWII. The Mk.II/IV variant was equipped with the 40mm 2-pounder gun, and featured a 130 hp diesel engine as well as a "slow motion" coil sprung suspension system that gave it ample mobility for the infantry tank role. It débuted in November 1941 in North Africa, and was still serving in Tunisia, in May 1943. Valentines were also passed in significant numbers to the Soviet Union under the "lend-lease" program. They were used largely in reconnaissance roles.

Sherman Easy 8 Euro Theatre
The U.S. M4 Sherman tank was undoubtedly one of the symbols of WWII, deployed in great quantities and numerous variants to counter the potent threat of German armor. One such variant was the M4A3E8, which was one of the final Sherman types and thus had the benefit of design improvements developed from experience in battle. These included a hardy welded late production hull, plus the welcome addition of the 76mm main gun. It was also fitted with new Horizontal Volute Spring Suspension (HVSS), and wider tracks, making for the significantly more comfortable ride that led to the M4A3E8's nickname of "Easy Eight." They were thrown into their maiden operation in the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944 as part of the 4th Armored Division under General Patton's overall command, contributing to the relief of the besieged town of Bastogne and the eventual triumph of the Allies in the European Theater.

Panzerkampfwagen III Ausf N (1:35)
During the middles stages of WWII, most German military vehicles had trouble providing adequate support to troops, therefore the N type tank was built to help solve this problem. The N type tank replaced its Marder III main battery with a 7.5cm gun which could fire high-performance high-explosive bursting projectile shells. From June 1942 through to August 1943, existing J, L, & M models also received these upgrades and 663 tanks were fitted, and another 37 were also upgraded later in 1944. In the summer of 1942 these tanks appeared on the battlefield with their highly explosive shells, and they proved to be highly efficient in their role of reinforcing the ground troops. They were deployed into newly organized heavy tank battalions, to make up for the lack of Tiger I tanks. As a support tank, the N type was easy to manage and very reliable, and in the latter half of WWII it fought at many fronts.

Russian Heavy Tank KV-2
Vehicle information and history:
In December 1939 the KV-1 was officially adopted by the Soviet military; it was followed by the KV-2, a heavier design based upon the KV-1 chassis, but upgunned to a 152mm howitzer with the intention of breaking enemy strongholds; in order to accomodate the larger gun, the KV-2 was given a remarkably tall turret. Around two hundred were produced, and supply to the military began in July 1940. The following June, Nazi Germany invaded and the KV-2 - while suffering a number of breakdowns - took part in Soviet resistance against the invaders, their 152mm guns and impressive survivability enabling some amazing feats, helping stem the tide.

M5A1 with 4 Figures
The M3 Stuart was the representative U.S. light tank in the early years of WWII. An improved version, called the M5A1, was officially accepted for service in September 1942. Powered by two 110hp Cadillac V8 engines, it was capable of a maximum speed of 58km/h. Armament consisted of a 37mm main gun and three 7.92mm machine guns, and the turret was notable for having additional armor attached to protect the anti-aircraft machine gun position. 6,800 examples were produced from January 1943 to June 1944 and they served mainly in reconnaissance units on the Italian and Western European fronts. Some tanks used during the fighting in Normandy were seen with hedgerow cutters attached to their hulls.

Matilda MKIII/IV British Infantry Tank (1:35)
The Matilda was developed as a heavily armored infantry tank and was the British Army's main tank in North Africa during WWII. It swept aside Italian opponents and was respectfully called the “Queen of the Desert” by German forces. During Operation Battleaxe to lift the siege of Tobruk in June 1941, German forces famously used their 88mm AA guns in the anti-tank role as they were the only effective counter against Matildas. The Matilda wrote her name into the history books as a highly effective tank which continually proved her worth during many fierce battles throughout North Africa.

Panther D Ausf D
The Ausf.D was the debut variant of the famed German WWII tank Panther. It offered a complete performance package, with firepower from the imposing L/70 7.5cm gun, excellent protection afforded by its sloped armor, and maneuverability thanks to a roaring 700hp gasoline engine. Around 840 Ausf.D Panthers were produced between January and September of 1943, and the first time it appeared on the battlefield was in the Battle of Kursk in July of that year. While it wasn't all smooth sailing, Panthers were still able to take out some 140 Soviet tanks from a range of 1,500 to 2,000 meters, all the while protected impeccably by their sloped plate. The Ausf.D was followed by improved Ausf.A and G variants, and while the Panther was unable to stop the tide from turning against Germany it nonetheless revolutionized German armored vehicle design, and remained on the front line until the end of hostilities.

M4A3 Sherman w 105mm Howitzer
Excelling in both reliability and sheer production capability, the M4 Sherman series of tanks became the staple fighting-vehicles of the WWII Allies. The first version to be produced, the cast-hull M4A1, was succeeded by the welded-hull M4, the diesel engine M4A2, and finally the most widely-known tank of the series, the M4A3.
Three types of main armament were used on the M4A3: on the initial production types, the 75mm main gun and on the subsequent types, the 76mm main gun for heightened penetration. Finally, to provide heavy fire support for assaults on enemy outposts, the powerful 105mm howitzer was later adopted. The 105mm howitzer was carried in a M52 combination mount and a vision cupola was fitted for the commander with a small hatch for the loader. It could fire M1 shells at angles from -10 to +35 degrees at a maximum range of 11,500m.
About 500 of the M4A3 (105mm) were produced at the Chrysler factory in Detroit from May to September 1944. From September 1944 horizontal volute spring suspension was introduced on the M4A3 (105mm) together with the wider center-guide T66 tracks. The M4A3 (105mm) were deployed to European Theatre from July 1944, and played an indispensable role in the destruction of enemy positions by the U.S. infantry fighting on the front lines.

- Smooth form of the cast turret with 105mm howitzer and welded hull of this late production M4A3 tank overflow with realism.

King Tiger Ardennes front
In 1944, German forces unleashed a new terror on their foes - the King Tiger. The first fifty were produced with a turret designed by Porsche; thereafter, the mass production version used a Henschel turret. Packing a hefty punch with an L/71, 88mm gun and with armor up to 150mm on the front and 80mm on the sides, the King Tiger was a menace to Allied forces during the desperate December 1944 German offensive there. The DKW NZ350 motorcycle was produced from 1940, and later in the conflict some were seen with a smaller headlight and slimmer fender.
Includes:
- Extensively detailed plastic kit
- Heavy, bulky appearance of armour plating accurately modelled
- 88mm Turret
- Nylon mesh is used to recreate engine cover
- Grilles can be given even more detail with the use of a separately sold photo-etched parts set 2x tanker figures in realistic uniform and pose.
- Full track and wheel detailing
- A DKW NZ350 is depicted with late war features such as a knee pad-less fuel tank, and comes with a rider figure with U-boat crew jacket.
- Set of waterslide transfers/decals
- Kit requires glue and paint to complete (NOT included)
- 1:35 Scale

German Tank 'Jagdpanther' L.V.
WWII saw numerous German tank destroyers come onto the scene, many of them a combination of existing tank chassis with a dedicated fighting compartment added; the Jagdpanther was perhaps the most successful design. Late version vehicles had alterations such as a larger gun shield and were deployed until the end of hostilities.

Stug IV Sd.Kfz.167
Vehicle information and history:
The Sd.Kfz.167 Sturmgeschütz IV was a development from an incredibly successful series of armoured mobile assault guns produced by the Germans during WWII, which were initially intended to provide fire support for infantry units coming across particularly stubborn areas of resistance during their advance, particularly those in fortified positions. The early short barrelled L/24 75 mm gun was later replaced with the longer L/43 and L/48 guns, which were devastatingly effective anti-tank weapons, which when combined with the low profile of these vehicles, made them a fearsome adversary for Allied tank commanders and could easily be concealed in ambush positions on the battlefield.
Following the Allied bombing of the Stug III factory in November 1943, the serious production disruption this caused forced the Germans to adapt the casemate superstructure of the Stug onto the larger chassis of the Panzer IV tank, retaining the low profile anti-tank killing capabilities of its predecessor, but resulting in the re-classification of these new vehicles as the Sturmgeschütz IV. Quick and relatively cheap to make compared to the mighty German heavy tanks of the period, the Sturmgeschütz where arguably Germany's most effective armoured vehicles during the latter stages of the war and whilst production numbers of Panther and Tiger tanks steadily diminished as the war progressed, many more Sturmgeschütz vehicles were rolling off the production lines to make up the shortfall.

Panther G/Late Version
After its appearance in mid-1943, the Panther was one of the mainstays of German armor through to the end of WWII. The Ausf.G (type G) variant was available to troops from 1944, and was itself upgraded in the second half of the year: fixes included an alteration to the lower section of the gun shield to stop direct hits from entering the crew space, and it was given more of a jutting design to further improve survivability; damped exhausts improved nighttime stealth; and air intakes were added on the engine grilles to supply the crew with warm air in cold conditions. Mobility, offensive power and survivability - the Panther achieved a remarkable balance of the three that made it a giant among WWII armor.

Panther Type G Early Version
Initial encounters with the T-34 in 1941 were something of a shock to invading German troops, who had until that point experienced general success with their armored forces. Their response was the Panther, first fielded in 1943. The Ausf.G (Type G) variant followed on from Ausf.D and Ausf.A Panthers; debuting in March 1944, it featured sloped armor, a powerful 700hp Maybach HL-230 engine and a fearsome 75mm gun - all that added up to an imposing combination of firepower, mobility and survivability which proved a boon for German forces and something of a headache for the Allies.

Panzer III AUSF J
Vehicle information and history:
One of the most famous tanks of the Second World War, the Panzer III was actually only available in relatively small numbers at the time of the German invasion of Poland, with around 180 tanks supplementing the more numerous, faster and lighter Panzer I and II tanks. Despite the popular misconception that Germany began the war having placed huge investment in tank production, much of the early burden of mechanized Blitzkrieg was born by smaller, lighter tanks and captured vehicles pressed into Wehrmacht service.
The Panzer III Ausf (model) J was a later production development of this famous tank and one which represented quite an advancement over earlier models. A slightly redesigned hull allowed for the addition of increased armour protection and a new gun mantlet facilitated the installation of the more powerful 50 mm KwK 38 L42 gun, although these modifications did take far too long in development. By the time this variant of Panzer III entered service with Panzer Divisions on the Eastern Front, they were struggling to match the heavily armed Soviet KV-1 and T-34 tanks they were facing, and in addition to this, the larger ammunition used by the new gun reduced the internal stowage capacity from 90 to 84 rounds. Although the Ausf. J was the most heavily produced variant of this famous tank, by 1943, the Panzer III was outclassed on the battlefield and not produced as a tank any more, although the main chassis was still used in the production of the excellent Sturmgeschütz III assault gun/tank destroyers.

A34 Comet British Cruiser Tank
This ALL-NEW model kit recreates the British Cruiser Tank A34 Comet in 1/35 scale! At the end of WWII, the British Army
developed the Comet – which became a base of later British Army tanks such as the Centurion - as a counter for the
powerful German Tiger and Panther tanks. With the hull design based upon the structure of the existing armoured cruiser
tank Cromwell, the Comet employed a larger turret with a powerful 17-pounder gun. The Comet first saw action in
Operation Varsity in March 1945, and around 900 including ones produced after WWII were built.
Features:

1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 219mm, width: 88mm.
The vertical-plane hull features box style assembly – accurately assembled with two bulkheads like the actual tank
Features realistic renderings of front hull and turret cast surfaces, and gun shield canvas cover surface.
Clear parts are included to render searchlight on turret left side.
Assembly type tracks have one-piece straight sections.
Choose from one-piece or two-piece (right and left) split type of the engine exhaust cover “Normandy Cowling’’.
Includes two torso figures to depict crew with winter clothes.
Comes with a choice of two marking options to recreate 11th Armoured Division tanks which saw action during WWII.

R35 French Light Tank
A Doughty Light Tank
By the 1930s French military planners could no longer ignore the obsolescence of their masterpiece FT17 tank from late WWI, and work started on a genuine successor to fill the void. One of the answers they came up with was the R35 light tank, which utilized rolled steel lower and three-piece cast upper hull designs and was armed with the short barreled 37mm gun. It was crewed by two. When hostilities with Nazi Germany burst into life in May 1940 the R35 was right in the front line. While it showed its armor was reliable, the 37mm gun was inadequate when it came to taking out German armor. The Fall of France in June 1940 meant that production of the R35 was curtailed to approximately 1,600 units.
