Class 150/1 2-Car DMU 150101 Northern
The Class 150 Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) is an enduring design, first introduced in 1984 much of the fleet remains in service today with operators including Northern Trains. The distinctive blue and white livery of Northern makes a return to the Branchline Class 150 DMU, this time on a Class 150/1 as classmate 150101.
Constructed from a highly detailed bodyshell which is adorned with separate components like the cab front handrails, roof ariels and exhaust, the Branchline model replicates the Class 150/1 faithfully. This announcement is also the first time we have produced Class 150/1’s with an accessible toilet in the DMSL, as signified by the blanked off toilet window on one side. The underframe boasts a suite of parts to depict the engine, drive train, electrical gear and auxiliary equipment, while inside the model, passenger seating is included along with cab detail. The livery application, using authentic colours and accurate typefaces and logos just enhances the model’s good looks, while the powerful and smooth drive mechanism and plug and play DCC compatibility makes the Class 150 DMU the perfect addition to any modern OO scale collection.
This model is a sales area exclusive and is only available from stockists in Scotland and Northern England.

Wickham Type 27 Trolley Car WD9033 LMR Blue
The Wickham Trolley is undoubtedly the smallest powered model that can be found in the Bachmann Branchline OO Scale range yet still, this impressive model still packs a punch with a high level of detail and a smooth drive mechanism making this a striking addition to any OO collection.
The Branchline model combines the trolley car, with its open cabin and seating for several personnel, with a trailer and it is here that the motor and mechanism is located, cleverly concealed by a ballast/spoil load. The trailer also sports a diecast metal chassis, with separate metal bearings fitted to the two axles and the gearing from the coreless motor to the driving axle is housed in a diecast metal gearbox. The driven wheelset is also fitted with traction tyres for assured running from this diminutive model. The semi-permanent coupling between the trolley and trailer allows electrical connections to be carried between the two, so that all eight wheels of the model can be equipped with pickups. With its wheels on full show, it’s easy to see that these have been replicated faithfully with the correct pattern and profile and brakes are added separately too. Meanwhile the trolley car itself has glazed windscreens with a separate windscreen wiper, headlights at the front and rear (non-functional), and a representation of the sheeting (that would have supposedly provided riders with protection from inclement weather!) rolled up and stowed along the roof edge.
The real WD9033 arrived at the Longmoor Military Railway (LMR) in Hampshire in 1954, later finding fame in the 1960s film ‘The Great St. Trinians Train Robbery’ before it moved away from the LMR in 1970 and more recently the trolley has been preserved.

Class 69 69013 Andy's Man Club GBRf Black
Bachmann Europe Plc has teamed up with GB Railfreight (GBRf) to produce a OO Scale model of Class 69 Diesel Locomotive No. 69013, which will be sold to help raise funds for Andy’s Man Club, the mental health charity that encourages men to talk and aims to prevent male suicide.
The real loco debuted in its striking black livery at the end of April 2025, complete with Andy’s Man Club branding and contact details along with the hashtag #itsoktotalk. Bachmann will be donating proceeds from every sale of this model and with it being the 13th member of the Class 69 fleet, we aim to raise £13,000 to help Andy’s Man Club get men talking all over the UK.
No. 69013 is the first model to be unveiled for the second batch of Branchline Class 69s which will be released in 2026. The real locomotive is unique amongst the 16-strong fleet of converted Class 56s in having the lower portions of its cab sheeting removed. This modification was made to the donor locomotive No. 56312 and has been carried over to No. 69013 but is not present on the other 15 locomotives. Every Branchline model is manufactured using complex and expensive tooling suites and producing a model with this unique feature is not possible using the current tooling that Bachmann has developed. Therefore, to model this variant would require new tooling, including a new bodyshell, underframe and chassis block. The cost of such additional tooling would be prohibitive for a single locomotive, preventing any meaningful donation to Andy’s Man Club.

Class 69 69013 Andy's Man Club GBRf Black (Sound Fitted Deluxe)
Features:

Pristine Andy’s Man Club GBRf Black livery
Running No. 69013
Equipped with a Plux22 DCC Decoder Socket – recommended Decoder item No. 36-570B

Five pole, twin shaft motor with two flywheels providing drive to both bogies
All axle drive
Electrical pickup from all wheels
Separate metal bearings fitted to each axle
Diecast metal chassis block and bogie towers
Diecast metal gearboxes, with gearing arranged for prototypical running speeds and haulage capabilities
16.5mm (OO gauge) wheels to NEM310 & NEM311 standards with authentic profile and detailing
Close coupling mechanism fitted at each end, each of which is fitted with coupling pockets to NEM362 standards
Designed to operate on curves of second radius (438mm) or greater
Bogies constructed from multiple components featuring full relief detail
Rotating radiator fans, driven by an independent motor and gearbox, operated as part of the sound project on DCC and Analogue control (SOUND FITTED DELUXE models only)
Separately applied metal detail parts, including lifting eyes, windscreen wipers and etched bodyside and fan grilles
Sprung metal buffers
Each model supplied with a full set of decorated, model-specific bufferbeam pipework and accessory parts

The Class 121 single-car Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) is Bachmann Branchline’s flagship First Generation multiple unit, equalled only by its 3-car Class 117 stablemate. Employing cutting edge technology, these high fidelity models boast a wealth of detail and era-specific options to depict specific railcars at various points during their working careers which, for some, extended towards 60 years in service. Returning to the Branchline range in a selection of new liveries, these iconic suburban DMUs will make a fine addition to any model railway set in the steam-diesel transition period onwards.
Capturing the look and character of the prototype, this Class 121 is adorned with many separate detail components whilst underneath the engine, drive gear and auxiliary equipment is all depicted faithfully. It may be hard to believe, but within these components and integrated into the underframe is hidden the drive mechanism, which is totally invisible with no intrusion into the interior of the model. Talking of the interior and the fine detail extends inside the model too, complete with prototypical decoration. The livery application is executed to a high standard both inside and out, using accurate colours and authentic fonts, typefaces and logos to stunning effect.
Driven by the low profile mechanism, the technology continues with the lighting suite which includes directional lights, interior cab and passenger saloon lights, and Illuminated headcode boxes and destination blinds, all of which can be enjoyed by analogue users – controlled with the under-chassis switches – or via dedicated functions on DCC. With a Plux22 DCC decoder socket and pre-fitted speaker.

The Class 08 Diesel Shunter was BR’s most numerous diesel locomotive type (totalling more than 1,000 examples alongside its Class 09 and Class 10 counterparts) and models of this icon have long been a staple of the Bachmann Branchline range. However, this brand-new 08 owes nothing to its predecessors and finally brings the story of the humble diesel shunter right up to date with this most accurate of OO scale renditions.
Constructed from high fidelity mouldings, the new Branchline model employs a wealth of separately fitted details, including various metal components, and offers countless combinations of details and variations to allow individual locomotives to be modelled accurately at a chosen time in history. This external beauty is brought to life by the exquisite livery application which uses true-to-prototype colours, fonts and logos – extending beyond the exterior to the cab interior which itself is highly detailed and decorated accordingly.
Meanwhile, ‘under the bonnet’ the model boasts a high specification that utilises the latest advancements in model railway technology. For the first time a full suite of lighting, including up to 13 separate lights, is fitted and can be enjoyed by both analogue and DCC users – whilst the new shunter is the first model to employ Bachmann’s Bach-Up stay alive system, providing DCC users with a reserve power supply for uninterrupted running even on dirty or uneven track.

Class 158 2-Car DMU 158856 Central Trains
The Class 158 is one of British Rail’s most successful second generation Diesel Multiple Units (DMUs); first introduced in 1989, the entire fleet remains in traffic to this day. Over the years many colourful liveries have adorned the units, none more so that the vivid green scheme of Central Trains and one such unit is depicted by this Bachmann Branchline model.
The pinnacle of OO scale second generation DMUs, the Branchline Class 158 combines high fidelity bodyshells with an underframe that’s adorned with separate components depicting the engines, electrical equipment, and auxiliary gear. It’s the livery application which really brings these models to life and every element has been replicated in miniature. Whilst the main colours are spray painted, the myriad smaller logos, symbols and lettering are applied using a specialist printing process, using BR and corporate specification fonts, logos and colours.
Driven by the low-level drive mechanism, which is fitted to each vehicle, the conductive couplings ensure that the two vehicles work together in harmony and enable the use of a single decoder for DCC operation. Fitting that decoder couldn’t be easier thanks to the clip-off underframe panel behind which the decoder socket is fitted and combined with the pre-fitted speaker in each car, it’s easy to fit sound to your model, or why not let us do the work for you by choosing a SOUND FITTED model for a fully immersive operating experience straight out of the box.
