T-6G Texan
The North American T-6 Texan was one of the most important and widely used training aircraft of the 20th century. Designed and built by the renowned American company starting in the second half of the 1930s, it was characterized by a low-wing configuration and an all-metal structure with a tandem cockpit capable of accommodating both instructor and trainee. It was powered by a radial Pratt & Whitney R-1340 engine producing approximately 600 horsepower, which ensured good performance and flight characteristics similar to those of contemporary fighter aircraft, making it ideal for preparing pilots for transition to operational aircraft. The T-6 was actively used, including in operational missions, during the 1950s and 1960s by more than 60 air forces from numerous countries, including the United States, Italy, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and Brazil.

OA-4M Skyhawk
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was developed in the 1950s and became one of the most famous and widely used light attack aircraft in the history of aviation. It was characterized by a simple design, with low-mounted delta wings and small side air intakes, yet it was extremely functional for operational use. Derived as an evolution of the original layout, the OA-4M Skyhawk is a two-seat light attack and advanced training version designed to meet the operational needs of the United States Marine Corps. Developed by McDonnell Douglas in the 1970s, the OA-4M was created to operate alongside single-seat variants in tactical support, reconnaissance, and pilot operational training missions. Significantly upgraded in avionics compared to previous versions, the OA-4M was capable of employing a broader and more advanced variety of weapon systems.

Messerschmitt Me 323 Gigant
The Me-323 “Gigant” was one of the largest transport aircraft built during the Second World War. It was developed to meet the specific requirement of the Luftwaffe, following the extension of supply lines, to transport troops and materials over long distances. Initially developed from a glider, it was equipped with six radial engines mounted on the wing leading edge, capable of providing sufficient power for fully loaded flight operations. The enormous fuselage was able to carry troops—more than 120 men—supplies, artillery pieces, and light vehicles. Its great transport capacity compromised its maximum speed, which only slightly exceeded 240 km/h. It was employed on the North African and Tunisian fronts to supply the Afrika Korps from bases in Sicily, as well as on the Russian front. It is considered a milestone in transport aircraft history.

Information:
The AW-101 Merlin is a medium-heavy multirole helicopter developed by AgustaWestland (now Leonardo) in collaboration with Westland Helicopters. It was designed and developed based on requirements from both the British Royal Navy and the Italian Navy to replace the now-obsolete SH-3D "Sea King." Entering service in the early 2000s, its primary role is that of an embarked anti-submarine warfare (ASW) helicopter. However, due to its operational flexibility, it is also well-suited, in its various configurations, for troop transport, maritime search and rescue (SAR), as well as combat SAR (CSAR) missions. It is capable of operating in extreme weather conditions and across all operational environments. Powered by three turbines, the Merlin reaches a maximum speed of 310 km/h and has an operational range exceeding 1,350 km.

The twin-engine Douglas A-20 was developed by the American company to perform two main operational roles. Its airframe, featuring the distinctive mid/high-mounted cantilever wing, could be configured as a night fighter and attack aircraft by adopting a powerful weapon system in the forward nose section, or configured as a light bomber. The light bomber version achieved significant success not only with the U.S.A.F. but also with the British RAF, which renamed the Douglas aircraft "Boston." The nose of the Boston was glazed to accommodate the bombardier but retained the nosewheel tricycle landing gear, innovative for its time. It could carry up to 1,800 kg of offensive payload and was produced in large numbers, being employed by the RAF, various Commonwealth air forces, and some units of the Soviet Air Forces.

Short Sunderland Mk.III
The Short Sunderland was one of the most famous seaplanes of World War II. It’s came into service at the end of 1938 to equip the Royal Air Force squadrons of Coastal Command. The Sunderland Mark III, introduced on the end of 1941, turned out to be the definitive Sunderland variant, with a huge number of units built. The Mk. III can be considered one of the most effective and successful weapons to counter the German U-Boots threat during the Battle of Atlantic. The flying boat patrol bomber Sunderland Mk III has been decisively improved, compared to the previous versions, with a revised hull configuration and the adoption of new patrol and submarines search equipment. Even the offensive load, which could included bombs, mines and depth charges, has been increased .The reliable 1,065 Hp Bristol Pegasus radial engines guaranteed a top speed of 336 Km/h and a range, essential feature to perform successfully sea patrol and research duties, of 2,800 Km.

Stirling Mk.III
The Short Stirling was the first four-engined British heavy bomber of the Second World War. The design had high wing, four engines and the cabin elevated over the fuselage. The airframe was fully made in metal. Another features that characterised the bomber was the impressive size of the landing gears. The first bombers went to equip the Royal Air Force Bomber Command Squadrons from the end of 1940. The Operational status was reached on January 1941 and the first war mission was dated February 1941 against logistic installation in Rotterdam. Stirling Mk. I was able to carry a significant offensive load of over 6,000 Kg of bombs and was armed with eight 7.7 mm machine guns for defence. The direct successor of the Mk.I version was the Mk.III, fitted with new and improved Bristol Hercules XVI engines and enhanced defensive armaments.
