Separately fitted simulated coal load. History: This locomotive entered service as one of Henry Ivatt’s ‘J13’ Class as No. 1247, having been built under contract by Sharp, Stewart in 1899. It became LNER ‘J52’ 4247 at the Grouping in 1923, and later 8846 under the LNER’s 1946 renumbering scheme.  It entered BR service as 68846 and was withdrawn from King’s Cross ‘Top Shed’ in May 1959, at which point it became the first preserved locomotive to be bought directly from BR when it was acquired by Captain W.G. Smith. It is now part of the National Collection and restored as GNR 1247. - OO Scale

GWR Saint Class 2920 'Saint David' BR Lined Black (Early) Of the 77 Saint Class members built by GWR between 1902 and 1913, 2920 ‘Saint David’ was one of the 47 that survived beyond nationalisation of Britain’s railways in 1948. Part of the third batch of 20 to be built in 1907, the locomotive was new to Cardiff Canton shed. It underwent several changes during its career, including the fitting of a superheated boiler in 1909 and outside steam pipes in December 1932. This model is presented in BR livery, the condition in which it operated through to its withdrawal in October 1953, by which point it was one of the last four still in service. This model was developed with the helpful guidance from the Didcot Railway Center who kindly gave us access to their archive of drawings and access to the Lady of Legend locomotive. The Saint class model features a powerful 5 pole skew wound motor, flickering firebox and is designed to be fully compatible with the HM7000 21-Pin decoder for full DCC and sound control. Hornby BR, Mk4 DVT '82218' Intercity Swallow

BR, Mk4 DVT '82218' Intercity Swallow This BR Driving Van Trailer comes with directional lighting, extra detail accessories and a 21-pin decoder socket, allowing you to fit an HM7000 decoder and speaker, giving it sound options. This DVT is compatible with BR Intercity Mk4 coaches and a BR Intercity Class 91 locomotive. The BR InterCity Mk4 DVT was designed to work with Mk4 carriages on the East Coast Main Line as a driver control car working in push-pull mode with Class 91 electric locomotives on InterCity 225 trains. Introduced in 1990, the DVT would normally be marshalled at the south end of the train, adjacent to the First Class carriages. The model is finished in the classic 1990s InterCity ‘Swallow’ livery of white with a dark grey mid-section and a lower red band, with full yellow ends. BR, MK4 DVT '82202' GNER This GNER Driving Van Trailer comes with directional lighting, extra detail accessories and a 21-pin decoder socket so you can fit an HM7000 decoder and speaker, giving it sound options. This DVT is compatible with GNER Mk4 coaches and a GNER Class 91 locomotive. Following privatisation of Britain’s railways in 1996, the first franchise holder on the East Coast Main Line was GNER – Great North Eastern Railway – which operated the route until December 2007. Trains were normally formed of a Class 91 electric locomotive, nine Mk4 carriages and a DVT (Driving Van Trailer). The DVT design was based on the Class 91 locomotive and boasted a full-width cab and a luggage compartment with space for bicycles and a train manager’s office. Finished in the stylish GNER livery, 82202 no longer exists, having been scrapped once superseded by modern Hitachi ‘Azumas’. - DCC Ready 21-Pin Socket - OO Scale
