Railroad: GWR County 1013 'County of Dorset' BR Lined Green  The ‘County’ Class was the last of the GWR-designed two-cylinder 4-6-0s, with 30 built at Swindon between 1945 and 1947 to the design of Chief Mechanical Engineer, Frederick Hawksworth.  ‘County of Dorset’ entered service in February 1946 and spent most of its early years in the West Country at Bristol, Plymouth, Truro and Penzance, before transferring to Shrewsbury in December 1951. Railroad: Class 803 803001 Lumo Train Pack  Lumo are an open-access operator owned by FirstGroup running train services between London King’s Cross and Edinburgh Waverley using a fleet of Hitachi AT300 Class 803 electric multiple units.  Five sets are currently operated, each of five cars, with a single class of accommodation throughout. Built in 2020/1 and based on the successful Class 800 IEP ‘Azuma’ design, these units don’t have auxiliary diesel engines, but instead carry batteries intended to power on-board facilities in case of overhead power failure. Class 802/3 802301 'Amy Johnson' Hull Trains Pack  In 2019, Hull Trains launched a poll to find suggestions for naming its five Class 802-3 ‘Paragon’ trains.  As a result, set 802301 was named ‘Amy Johnson’ after the Hull-born pioneering pilot who became the first woman to fly solo between London and Australia in the 1930s, setting many long-distance flying records. This unit was the first of Hull Trains’ Class 802-3 bi-mode units, entering service on 25th November 2019. The five 5-car sets work express services between Hull and London King’s Cross. BR Class 43 HST EMR 43274 & Intercity Swallow 43102 Pack  This hybrid train pack represents the final months of HST operation with East Midland Railway in 2021, when 43274 became the first and only Class 43 to carry the interim EMR purple aubergine livery. Owned by Colas, it is still in service today. Meanwhile, 43102 was turned out in retro InterCity ‘Swallow’ livery in February 2021, recalling its record-setting feat with 43159, when they became the world’s fastest diesel locomotives attaining a speed of 148.5mph in November 1987. Railroad: GNR N2 1606 GNR Lined Green Introduced to a design by Nigel Gresley for the Great Northern Railway in 1920, 1744 was built by the North British Locomotive Company in Glasgow in February 1921. At the Grouping two years later, it became LNER 4744 and then 9523 under the 1946 renumbering scheme, before finally becoming BR 69523 at nationalisation. Withdrawn from New England shed, Peterborough in September 1962, it was purchased by the Gresley Society Trust for preservation the following year. It has been based variously at the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, the Great Central Railway and – most recently – the North Norfolk Railway, where, following a major overhaul, it is set to return to steam in time to celebrate ‘Gresley 150’ during 2026. - OO Scale

This Collection marks 150 years since Sir Gresley's birth, and this locomotive includes a figure.  With a shiny new blue livery and NEM tension lock couplings, this steam locomotive is a wonderful collector's piece.  Entering service with the LNER as 4498 in Garter blue with streamlined side-skirting and red wheels, this was the 100th Gresley ‘Pacific’ to be built when it emerged from Doncaster Works in October 1937. Allocated to King’s Cross ‘Top Shed’ and used on front-line express services such as the prestigious ‘Coronation’ between London and Edinburgh, ‘SNG’ was built with a single chimney and had stainless steel numbers and letters for the tender added at a general overhaul in January 1939.  After a period in wartime black, when the side-skirts were permanently removed, the locomotive returned to lined Garter blue in March 1947. Painted into BR’s express passenger blue in September 1950, as 60007, it set a post-war steam record speed of 112mph on 23 May 1959. LMS Streamlined 6220 'Coronation' w/ Figure (Limited Edition) (150th Anniversary Collection) The LMS Streamlined 'Coronation' model locomotive is a limited edition item and part of The Great Railway Engineers Collection. This Collection marks 150 years since Sir Stanier's birth, and this locomotive includes a figure. With a shiny bold red livery and NEM tension lock couplings, this steam locomotive is a must-have for collectors. The ‘Princess Coronation’ Class, also known as the ‘Duchess’ Class, was an enlarged and improved version of William Stanier’s successful ‘Princess Royal’ Class ‘Pacific’. The first ten class members emerged from Crewe Works in a streamlined form during 1937 and five of these were put aside specifically for hauling the prestigious ‘Coronation Scot’ between London Euston and Glasgow Central. These were painted in Caledonian blue and had silver horizontal lining, which matched the carriages they pulled. No. 6220 set a new British steam speed record of 114mph in 1937, but this was beaten by the LNER’s ‘Mallard’ in 1938. Built with a single chimney, 6220 was the last of the original 15 to be fitted with a double blast pipe and chimney in 1944. The locomotive’s streamlined casing was removed in November 1946, and it finished its career in its rebuilt form with smoke deflectors as BR’s 46220 in April 1963. - DCC Ready 21-Pin Socket - OO Scale

BR Class 56 56047 Dutch Transrail (TXS Sound Fitted) This Transrail Class 56 OO gauge model locomotive features a striking grey and yellow livery, with sprung metal buffers and NEM tension lock couplings. The highly detailed model is also pre-fitted with HM7000 sound capability for the most authentic experience.  Built at Doncaster Works, 56047 entered service at Toton in July 1978. Transrail Freight was set up as a trainload freight operator based in St Blazey, Cornwall, formed in 1994 from part of BR’s Trainload Freight division during the privatisation of British Rail. During this period, it acquired a number of Class 56 locomotives, retaining the Dutch-style livery but with the addition of Transrail’s logo and markings.  Transrail was one of a number of main line companies to be bought in 1996 to form new freight operator, English Welsh & Scottish (EWS). In July 1938, it reached 126mph on Stoke Bank. Entering service in March of that year in LNER Garter blue, it had full side valances and red wheels, as depicted by our highly detailed model. It was renumbered 22 in 1946, by which time it carried wartime plain black. When it was withdrawn from King’s Cross in April 1963, it was in lined BR green and numbered 60022. The locomotive is preserved in its original livery at the National Railway Museum in York. 'Mallard' has always been one of our most popular models. In 2026, we have given the A4 a tooling update and the model now includes the new Hornby steam generator technology, working headlights and tender lights. L&MR Robert Stephenson’s 'Rocket'  For the first time, Stephenson's Rocket is presented as a solo locomotive, with a sleek yellow livery, fixed metal buffers and chain couplings. This highly detailed, diminuitive locomotive model is a must-have model for steam collectors, due to its historical importance and incredible model engineering.  This historically important locomotive was built in 1929 to participate in the Rainhill Trials, a competition set-up by the promoters of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway to find suitable motive power for its opening the following year. Built to the order of his father George (who was the L&MR’s principal engineer at the time), ‘Rocket’ was designed by Robert Stephenson and built at his Forth Street Works in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.  The design was the most advanced in its day and ‘Rocket’ won the Trials. One of the last of its class to be built, this locomotive was completed after nationalisation of Britain’s railways to Bulleid’s Southern ‘Merchant Navy’ design, complete with streamlined casing and chain-driven valve gear, entering service in December 1948. It didn’t receive its name until January 1951, during a ceremony at Southampton Docks. Like all 30 members of the class, ‘Clan Line’ was rebuilt, in its case, during 1959, and remained in service until withdrawal from Nine Elms, London in July 1947. It was subsequently saved privately for preservation and is a regular main line performer, once hauling the prestigious Belmond British Pullman. History: The Northern Rail franchise commenced in December 2004 and inherited its fleet from those of Arriva Trains Northern and First North Western, including a large number of Class 153 single units, of which No. 153360 was one.  Under Northern Rail, the unit saw considerable use in the Carlisle area, including services on the Settle and Carlisle line and the Cumbria coastal line to Barrow-in-Furness.  Arriva Rail North, Northern Rail’s successor from 2016, operated the largest fleet of Class 153 units in the UK. LNER Azuma Class 801/2 801207 'Darlington' Train Pack (Rail200) The ‘Azuma’ Class 801/1 and 801/2 sets, were introduced on the East Coast Main Line between 2017 and 2020. They are a development of the Class 800 bi-mode trains in the Hitachi AT300 product range, produced at their Newton Aycliffe facility in the north-east, but unlike their bi-mode counterparts, the Class 801s are the purely electric version of the ‘Azuma’, although they are fitted with ‘emergency’ diesel engines to allow them to limp home in case of overhead power failure.  The Class 801/2s are the full nine-car length trains, whereas the 801/1s operate as shorter five-car sets, often used in pairs. The first of the full-length Class 801/2s ran in November 2019, entering service on front-line London King’s Cross-Edinburgh trains, allowing the bi-mode Class 800/1s to be cascaded onto King’s Cross-Aberdeen services, which in turn replaced the remaining InterCity 125 sets on that route. There are currently 30 Class 801/2 sets in operation. Five of which are named, including Set No. 801207, which on 14 January was unveiled by LNER to mark the 200th Anniversary year of the opening of the Stockton & Darlington Railway.  The power cars carry LNER, ‘Azuma’ and ‘Railway 200’ markings, with the legend ‘Darlington’ towards their front ends. The five-car pack includes powered PDTRBF (Pantograph Driving Trailer Restaurant Buffet First) and non-powered PDTS (Pantograph Driving Trailer Standard) cars, plus three matching coaches; two MS (Motor Standard) cars and a MF (Motor First) car. This RailRoad model is a good example of a privately owned steam shunter that could have been seen working in an industrial setting. The B4 Class were first introduced in the 1890’s with their original purpose being for station piloting and shunting freight wagons in docks. Dublo: BR (Early) Princess Coronation Duchess of Buccleuch 46230   Also known as the ‘Duchess’ Class, Stanier’s ‘Princess Coronations’ were among the biggest and most powerful express passenger locomotives in Britain.  Thirty-five were built at Crewe Works between 1937 and 1948, many having streamlined casing. Ten were set aside for hauling the prestigious ‘Coronation Scot’ between London Euston and Glasgow. No. 46230 wasn’t one of those, but it was the first of the third batch of locomotives, which consisted of five non-streamlined versions, and went new to Camden in June 1938 as LMS No. 6230.  At Nationalisation in 1948, the locomotive became BR No. 46230 and was painted in lined Brunswick green as depicted by the model. Since 1975 these powerful Bo-Bo locomotives have moved passengers across the country for business and for leisure, most ironically in their various BR guises. The Class 43 persists to this day as a stalwart of the rails under various operators including the mainline serving GWR, mainline maintaining Network Rail and some private operators such as Locomotive Services Limited on their Blue Pullman services.  This train pack, designed to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II depicts the Class 43 as they have never been seen before, in a livery questioning exactly how the legendary LNER would celebrate this special occasion if they were still operating, and nationalisation had never occurred. It would be nice to think that if the big four were never nationalised that we would still be able to see steam regularly on the mainline however this view is shrouded in nostalgia and ignores the operational benefits that diesel locomotives bring. If the LNER operated continuously into the modern era, this may be how they would mark this special occasion. The power cars in this set, while adorned with numbers that have been assigned to full size units, have had numbers chosen to celebrate prominent years of the queen’s reign. 43052 has been chosen as part of the numbering pattern for the full size examples and 52 for the year of the coronation, and 43022 follows the same pattern but for this very special year of Her Majesties reign.
