Hunslet Austerity HC1775 BR Black Early Emblem 68025 - DCC Sound This locomotive was one of a batch of 36 Austerities by Hudswell Clarke of Leeds. This particular one was completed in November 1944 and carried the WD number 71498. Purchased by the LNER in June 1946 the locomotive was classified as a J94 and numbered 8025. The distinctive extended bunker was fitted in November 1949 when it was renumbered 68025 and gained the early BR emblem. The locomotive was based at Darlington 51A until withdrawal in 1963. The locomotive did not survive and was cut up shortly after. Class 66 66142 'Maritime Intermodal Three' DB Maritime Blue - DCC Sound Once an anonymous EWS maroon and gold class 66, 66142 led the life of a typical EWS 66 from its delivery during August 1999 right through the acquisition by DB up until its turn in the paintshop came in 2019 at the ripe age of 20 years old! Rather than the bright red of DB, 66142 gained the vibrant blue colour of Maritime Intermodal and was named “Maritime Intermodal Three”.
