TT:120 SR (IOW) Station Building Laser Cut Kit
The perfect companions to the new Hornby "Terrier" locomotive and coaches, these PECO Ventnor West building kits bring a touch of Isle of Wight charm to your layout.
Based on the real Ventnor West station, which operated from 1900 to 1952 as the terminus of a short branch line off the Isle of Wight Central Railway at Merstone, these kits capture the essence of the location while remaining versatile enough to suit many layouts. Although the original station saw limited use due to its inconvenient location, the buildings themselves are fairly generic in appearance, making them ideal for any TT:120 modeller.
The station building kit is particularly clever, allowing you to build it as either a full-size structure or split into two smaller buildings, giving your layout even more flexibility and realism.
Key Features:

TT:120 scale kits suitable for a variety of layouts
Based on Ventnor West station, Isle of Wight
Station building can be built as one structure or two separate buildings
Ideal complement to Hornby "Terrier" locomotives and coaches
Authentic yet versatile design for creative modelling

Bring a piece of Isle of Wight history to your TT:120 layout with these detailed and adaptable PECO building kits.

1960s Semi-Detached Houses (Double Low Reliefs Backs)
Following on from the release of our Victorian houses, we have moved forward a century with these rather more utilitarian house kits, based on a design that first appeared in the 1960s. We have all seen these houses - they are all over the UK, forming a familiar feature in virtually every town and city.
There are 3 kits available: Low-relief Fronts & Backs, and the Full Building Kit. Easy and satisfying to build, the laser-cut detail is extremely fine, with wonderful brick and tile textures on the surface. The models also feature guttering and downpipes, a separate porch at the front and blinds in the windows, which can be positioned as desired. Once built the models can be painted to reflect the modeller's individual choice.
You can easily imagine a row of these 1960s house backs lining up alongside the railway, or a small housing estate located close to the railway station - a perfect scene on the layout that can be enhanced with various other PECO, Ratio, Wills and Harburn Hamlet accessories.
Technical Specification:
138mm x 47mm (Footprint)

OO-9 L&B Bogie Open Wagon L & B Livery
Wagon 22 was an open bogie vehicle of 8 ton capacity, built at the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway's workshop at Pilton in 1903 to complement the existing fleet, which included a number of similar vehicles built by Bristol Wagon and Carriage Works. The LandBR had no regular freight workings, and goods vehicles were added to passenger trains as required. They were all fitted with vacuum brakes to allow them to be marshalled between the loco and coaches, and negate the need for a separate goods brakevan. Freight moved on the L&BR included coal, ballast, farm machinery, hay and even manure! From new all freight vehicles were painted light grey with black ironwork. Under Southern Railway ownership the wagons were repainted standard SR brown, and number 22 became SR number 28313. Our model faithfully represents this particular vehicle, with careful attention being paid to details in the livery, plus separately-fitted brake levers and vacuum brake pipes. As with all of our previous models in this scale, they are free running and complete with couplings, which plug into the integral NEM pocket.

Peco - Streamline Small Radius Curved Turnout L/H
Adapted from the existing PECO Setrack Curved turnout, this brand new development allows us to add a really useful component into the classic Streamline OO/HO Code 100 range. At last we are able to offer a tighter radius turnout for Streamline users, something that has been requested on and off for a long time.
Curved turnouts are fantastic space savers and their benefits are often overlooked. Given that so many layouts are built to be located in small spaces the use of curved turnouts ought to be greater than it is, so these new Streamline turnouts may well address many concerns that modellers have when planning their model railway.
This turnout has been derived from the existing Setrack curved turnout the geometry departs from the common frog angle adopted by the Streamline system (which is based on a common frog angle of 12 degrees) - this turnout has a 11.25 degree frog angle and the inner radius is just 438mm, or 17.2 inches. This should not be seen as any disadvantage and the real benefit is that they will allow much tighter access where it is needed, such as in restricted places where a layout has to loop around into a fiddle yard, for example.  The standard Streamline curved turnout has a minimum inside radius of 762mm, 30 inches, so the difference is quite clear to see.

Length: 168mm
Radius: 438mm

- Laser cut wood kit with plastic parts
- Real prototype
- Clapboard wooden body accurately represented
- Gutter and Roof bracket detailing

- OO Scale
Building information and history:
This is part of a new range of Laser-cut wood building kits, all based on buildings on the existing West Highland Line extension between Fort William and Mallaig in Scotland. Arisaig station is the inspiration for these attractive range of buildings now produced by Peco. The line is most famous now for its role in the Harry Potter films. The route is a firm favourite with modellers and trainspotters alike.
Arisaig station was built around 1901 to serve the village of Arisaid, located just to the south of the station.
Originally the station had two platforms, the down platform having the main station building on it (LK-203) and on the opposite side a platform shelter building (LK-204).
The signal box (LK-202) which has been closed since 1983 and granted Grade B Listed status is located on the north end of the up platform. There was goods facilities at Arisaig in the form of a loading platform served by a single siding.Today this is used for departmental trains and storage.
The station never had a footbridge and so passengers would have to cross on 'barrow crossings'/ foot crossings at the station platform ends. The station is typical of many on this stretch of the West Highland line and is lucky to have kept lots of its original features blended in with modern lighting and signage. This makes it ideal for modelling in several eras.

GWR Wooden Station Building (Based on Monkton Combe)
Monkton Combe, once an intermediate station on the long-closed Camerton branch near Bath, was thrust into the limelight in 1952 when it was chosen to be the location for the filming of the famous Ealing Comedy "The Titfield Thunderbolt".
This kit has created a faithful reproduction of the building as it was during its short life as a passenger station. Built in 1910, it closed to passengers entirely in 1925, the branch lingering on for goods-only until 1951. Despite its very short life the building was an attractive one and a similar style has been used at other locations around the GWR system, South Wales coming to mind.
No doubt modellers will happily justify their own rendition of Monkton Combe on their layouts. And with the prospect of locos and rolling stock models becoming available soon, based on those used in the film, we may even see recreations of Titfield station itself! To give inspiration to modellers the June 2023 issue of the Railway Modeller shows you just how to create Titfield using our kit, thanks to the modelling skills of resident features writer and modeller Callum Willcox.
Includes:
- Precision laser-cut wooden parts (with plenty of detail and texture to replicate the characteristics of a wooden buildings)
- Plastic accessories such as chimney pots, .
- Kit requires suitable wood (PVA) and plastic (Poly cement) glues and paint to complete NOT included
- Instructions included
- A video on PECO TV will be showing modellers just how to build it.

Dual Joiners-to join Peco code 250 rail to larger rail sections
For joining PECO Code 250 rail to other rail profiles. For large scale narrow gauge models running on 45mm gauge track, it is designed for electrically powered models but is also entirely suitable for running radio controlled live steam trains. The robust construction makes it equally at home for use both indoors and outside. These turnouts are compatible with the G45 Setrack system.
