Delivery & Returns

UK Delivery

At Monk Bar Model Shop, we aim to despatch items as soon as possible subject to credit clearance and stock availability. Items ordered through the website can only be delivered to an address in the UK.

In stock items are usually despatched within 1-2 working days of ordering.

Items are generally sent via UPS courier, some smaller items may be sent with Royal Mail.

Our standard UK delivery charge is £3.95

If you require your delivery by a certain time/date, please telephone us with your order and a member of our sales team will be happy to advise, this may incur additional postage charges.

Please note that your credit/debit card will be charged when you place your order. With regards to out of stock items, we will contact you via email or telephone as soon as possible with an estimated new delivery date. You reserve the right to cancel items at this stage and we will provide you with a full refund. Monk Bar Model Shop does not accept liability for stock availability.

International Delivery

Returns and Exchanges

Where possible items are quality checked before they are dispatched and locomotives are tested, however, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will gladly offer you an exchange or refund (excluding the cost of postage). Items must be unused, where appropriate still sealed and returned to us in their original condition.

All returns must be received by us within 14 days of the date you received your order, please allow at least four days for postage. You will be required to cover the shipping and they must be returned via a traceable method – such as Royal Mail Signed For. We cannot accept responsibility for returned items until they are signed for by us.

With regards to exchanging items, we will ship your first exchange to you free of charge, once we have received the items in satisfactory condition. Any subsequent exchanges will require payment of additional postal costs from you.

Requesting a Return

To request a return, please email us at info@monkbarmodelshop.co.uk - please include your name, the unique invoice number (which can be found on your dispatch note) and the names of the items you wish to return. Please return the items to the following address: Monk Bar Model Shop 2 Goodramgate York YO1 7LQ Once we have received your items, we aim to process your return or exchange within 1-3 working days. You will be notified by email once your return or exchange has been processed.

Requesting a Return

Any verified faulty items will be exchanged or fully refunded (including postage costs). Please contact us on 01904 659423 or info@monkbarmodelshop.co.uk at your earliest convenience.
