Vehicle information and history:

Originally built in 1937 as a Southern Railway Van C type passenger brake vehicle, ADB975140 was converted for use as a departmental staff van in 1971. This vehicle is ideal for the BR Blue Diesel era, either behind an engineer's train or left in a siding.

Currently the vehicle is preserved on the Severn Valley Railway.
