Building information:

The original Boston Lodge two road engine shed was in use from 1863 to house the four original England locomotives. In 1867 it was extended to house six locomotives when the rest of the Large England locomotives went into traffic. 

Eventually the shed wen through various rebuilds including a single road extension on the west side, made of Corrugated cladding and timber framing (LK218). The shed has been part of a heritage appeal and now after restoration proudly houses some of the vintage rolling stock owned by the Ffestiniog Railway.
