Playtrains: "Blue Ranger" Steam Train (w/ Steam)

Meet Blue Ranger – the blue steam engine ready to take your child on their next big Playtrains adventure!

Playtrains is designed especially for children aged 5–8, Blue Ranger captures all the excitement of a real passenger express train in a fun, child-friendly way. Finished in a striking blue livery and named Blue Ranger, this eye-catching locomotive is built to inspire imaginative journeys around your home.

What makes it truly magical is the realistic steam effect. Simply add water and watch safe, vapourised mist gently puff from the chimney – giving all the drama of a real steam train, with complete peace of mind for parents.

Add in authentic train sounds and a working front headlight, and every journey feels even more lifelike. Blue Ranger is battery powered (4 x AA batteries required). It’s operated using an easy-to-use IR hand controller (sold separately R7407), perfectly suited to small hands and growing confidence.

As your child’s railway world expands, Blue Ranger is fully compatible with the Playtrains Steam Train Coach Pack R9373 and other Playtrains toys, making it simple to add more coaches and create a longer, grander express. Big adventures start with one engine — and Blue Ranger is ready to lead the way.
