Anyone interested in modern military history cannot ignore the Tornado GR.4. The RAF (Royal Air Force) fighter aircraft determined the missions of the British Air Force for decades. And it is precisely this jet that is now taking the hearts of experienced model builders to lofty heights!

For 35 years, the Tornado GR.4 was the pride of the Royal Air Force. Then this unique multi-role combat aircraft was put into deserved retirement - its successor, the F-35, is now conquering the skies over Great Britain.

At the farewell in February 2019, the sky over eastern England shone in the deepest blue as the last jets in a formation of nine showed once again what they could do.

Many visitors were thrilled at the sight of the aircraft and even more so when they saw the colorful special livery that the 31st Squadron of the RAF had given its star as a farewell: a gold star on the tailplane that competed with the sun far above him!
