Vehicle information and history:

The Series III first rolled out in 1971 and production continued up to 1985. The body and engine options were the same as the preceding IIA, including station wagons and the One-Ton versions. The Series III is the most common to be found of the series vehicles, with a total of 440,000 of the type built. The headlights were moved to the wings on late production IIA models from 1968/9 onward (ostensibly to comply with Australian, American, and Dutch lighting regulations) and remained in this position for the series III. The traditional metal grille, was replaced with a plastic one for the series-III.

Model kit for the Land Rover Commercial. The commercial vehicle was suitable for transporting bulky goods and, because of the corrosion-protected loading area, also for corrosive substances.
