Vehicle information:

Malcolm Jeffs’ Mk1 Golf GTI brings a burst of colour and character to the 2025 season, carrying the bright yellow-and-red livery that makes his cars instantly recognisable in club-level touring and saloon racing.
The original Mk1 GTI earned its reputation through its light weight, sharp handling, and eager performance, and those same strengths continue to shine when the platform is pushed on track today. Jeffs’ #16 machine builds on that heritage with modern preparation and a lively driving style that suits the car perfectly.
On the Scalextric version, the bold paintwork and compact, purposeful stance translate well into 1:32 scale. It’s a great addition for collectors who enjoy grassroots racing, classic hot hatchbacks, and the enduring appeal of the original Golf GTI.
